Unless injured, boxers fight once in 7 weeks. Each weight division fight on different day and there are 7 weight divisions.
You can do your own match making with boxers that are close to the rank of your boxer. You can only do your own match making if your boxer is not ranked in top 4 of your division. (to do so go to Fights->Fight Schedules menu.)
When you do your own match making you will negotiate with other boxers (free agent) or their gyms to fight them. They will come back with proposed percentage of the purse that they offer to you. That percentage you can negotiate up. The initial offer is dependent on their rank versus yours as well as their record against you.
Note: If you still do not come to agreement 2 weeks prior to the fight date the deal can not be completed and you will be assigned a fight by B2G. Thus you have at most 4 weeks to negotiation if you start right after your fight.
If the fighter does not have a fight scheduled by the fight date the B2G will assign a fight for that boxer. The assigned fight would be with a boxer that is immediately below or above your boxer in ranking.

Forgot to mention that if you do not want your boxer to fight during this round you can set your boxer to rest. Of course you better be able to afford that.
Why would you want to rest a boxer? Could be because boxer is jaded. He was in too many hard fights too often and just need to rest. He will tell you about it. You can also see how quickly his currentcondition recovers after the fight. Jaded fighters recover slowly and may still be not at 100% in 7 weeks. Going into a fight with less then 100% condition lowers some of your important attributes.

Remember that you are a tiny gym with no reputation in the beggining. Don't expect anyone good to even consider your offer. It is like being a conference side football club going after Rooney, he will just ignore you.
You should be aiming for one star staff. As for boxers, you should be looking for ones that ask for less than $250/week. Expect to start out training boxers with loosing records. (probably not ranked in top ten of their country)

Guys from your hometown will accept a lot less money. I'd also go for experienced pro's but who are rank > 8 in the lowest division .
New pro's usually ask for 350+ although I'm tempted to try one now I'm earning some money.

hello everyone im new here, i have a few question... is it advisable to get 2 boxers to be on my gym right away or one is enough for now(i can only find 1 willing to sign for me so far)? 2nd ive read that a new gym should only aim for a contract of 250 per week, is that for 2 boxer or 250 per week per boxer? so meaning i can spend 500 per week for 2 boxers? sorry just wanna confirm before i make a stupid mistake and accept a 250 per week offer for just 1 boxer

welcome tisoy. It is $250 for one boxer. And you can have two boxers. Boxers bring you money by fighting. Staff on the other hand, does not so you probably do not want to hire any of them until you get some positive cash flow. Maybe after your gym is worth about $6000 you can add some staff.

hello all, i am new to the game. I have signed my first boxer, an experienced bum Welterweight for $122/wk. I would like to organise a nice easy fight for him against an AI boxer, however when i go to fights>fights schedule no boxers name appear after i click look for a fight. How do i organise a fight?
Also, should i look to get a 2nd boxer in as soon as possible, or should i wait for a while?

Hey Pie, If you cant organize a fight for your boxer the first thing you need to check is the fighters status, he may be recovering from an injury or he may be jaded. I understand some fighters will even go on vacation as well. If you post the link to your fighter I will take a look later. Here is an example of a fighter that is recovering from injury: www.box2glory.com/npc/209bio.htmGood luck and let us know if you need any more help

I believe we are talking about George. He was in a very tough fight last time out and need to heal from all those cuts. He will be out for 2 rounds of fights (14 weeks since his last fight which was 6 weeks ago). www.box2glory.com/npc/1103bio.htmI would suggest signing another bum that is not injured so that you can still be making money of him, because George will not be fighting until February of 2029 or so.

When I renegotiate with numerous fighters/opponents at the same time, I am usually scheduled a fight after the next turn. But how does the game determine which fight gets made if more than one opponent accepts my renegotiation? Is it the fight that offers me the most money? Or maybe highest ranking opponent?
As always, sorry if I missed it in the manual or somewhere else.
