William David is now the number 4 ranked heavyweight in the UK! Does he get auto scheduled now or can I still choose my fights?

Once you get into the top 4 you are at the mercy of auto schedule. Good luck!

Once you get into the top 4 you are at the mercy of auto schedule. Good luck! David's career has been very carefully managed so far, I fear that his run may be about to come to a halt...Of course it doesn't help that I go on holiday on Friday and may have only limited access to the internet over the following 2 weeks or so...

Number 2 is injured so looks like David be fighting this guy www.box2glory.com/npc/6150bio.htmI think you can tell your boxer to Rest next round if you are going on vacation and think you will not be able to manage his fightplan correctly.

Thanks for the info Pav. To be honest, William has relatively few options available to him in terms of strategy so I think I can get away with it...In terms of all around ability my 2 recent signings Ridley Gregson and Kieran Manners look the most likely to go on and achieve at a higher level but I shall see how far William's limited tactical advantages can take him

Close decision. A fight against higher ranked opponent. Your boxrec score still went up afterward as you moved up to #9 while your opponent went down to #8. So its not all bad. You can get a rematch or set your sights higher.

Ridley needs to prove that he is the better man In truth many of the rounds were 10/10 on the commentators card but Ridley won more clear rounds and I thought that his power punching in the close ones would land him the decision but I guess the game reflected real life with the close decision going to home fighter.

Just a question. Noticed you were going to the Body still in round 12 - is there a reason for why that would be effective or was that a mistake?

It is a mistake, I need to look at my late round lines as something else should have overidden that line...

Is it planned for something like the "round" conditional to be in the game at any stage in the future please ? so something like "if round = 12" or "if round > 10" "if mystuns = 0 and score < 0 and round > X then " etc could be possible ? No worries if not , have no idea how hard/hasslesome that is to program but thought would ask

When request come in, if the are easy to do I put them in quick. If not I put it on a list. This would not be an easy thing.

Agincourt star heavyweight William David today put himself in line for a shot at the UK heavyweight crown with an impressive beatdown of big punching Austin Bush www.box2glory.com/2028/March/93680.htm David has now won 6 fights in a row since joining the up and coming Agincourt Gym, with 4 victories coming via first round KO's, leading some to question David's ability to fight over a longer distance; today those questions were answered emphatically. A fully capacity 30,000 fans packed into Wembley Stadium to see 2 huge punchers go to war but David surprised all in attendance as he decided to stand back and counter the onrushing Bush in a surprisingly effective back foot display of boxing. David took the first 3 rounds convincingly, despite some dubious inside tactics from his opponent which saw him warned and eventually deducted points as the fight went on. Bush rallied to take rounds 4 and 5 but the effort of doing so clearly took its toll and he looked weary as he walked back to his corner after losing round 6. Bush gave one last big effort to take the 7th but his last ditch effort clearly took almost all that he had left. Sensing his opponents weakness, David came out in the 8th looking for the finish and duly delivered it 51 seconds into the round when he unleashed a monstrous uppercut that lifted the drained Bush clear off of his feet, making a count a mere formality. After the fight David called for a shot at UK champion William Robbins and on this sort of form, few would back against the exciting prospect taking the crown. There was also joy for Agincourt stablemate John Mitchell as he outpointed Geohagan's Golden Gloves Bob Sedgewick via a controversial split decision. Most fans thought that Mitchell controlled the action throughout and were surprised one when judge awared the fight to the home fighter but justice was done as Mitchell got the verdict to look towards a move into the UK top 10.

Nice write up . For me , we stole a title we didn't deserve against a better fighter . They all count though . Oh & signed a heavyweight called "Goliath" .
