YES one of my fighters won our gym's first title belt yes i know it is only a division champ belt but it is a belt and that makes me very happy...llecha thanks for helping me understand the fight plan a little more than what i did know actually a lot more. Now i know that some of you veterans are thinking why is this guy that excited about a division belt big deal. Well to me it tells me that i have improved a little bit and i can now see a little progress. So laugh at me all you want you cannot take my smile away today...

Good job, Ray. Why do you go for the cuts sometimes in your FPs?

LOL well to be honest i like a bloody fight and i like to read that my opponent is bleeding from a huge gash over his eye. But you are right i do use it to much. And thanks Rock, Pav and jetcat and of course llecha.

Going to the cuts when opponent has no cuts at all is not the best idea ever.
If you want to win this way so much, you should first of all cut him at least. To do it you should go to the head with really tough punches:
1: 0/25-H/50/25 {feint}
then add some cuts lines:
1:if hiscuts>0 then 0/20-C/45/35 1:if hiscuts>1 then 0/25-C/45/30 1:if hiscuts>3 then 0/25-C/50/25
In fact this strategy is being used only in cases when you have no other chances to win.

Oh ok i was trying to figure out how to cut them but i would keep coming up with some very bad FP lol. Thank you i will try to come up with something else. The reason i use that fight plan more than i should is because i usually win but i do understand what you are trying to tell me and thank you it is much appreciated.

Your fighter still can win cos he throws power punches and although this targeting to the cuts the punches are still powerful. Targeting allows to land more punches on concrete area- body, head or cuts. There is a penalty- he lands less punches on other areas, but he still lands punches on other areas but less than he could do without 20% penalty.
So targeting to the cuts without cuts just gives you a penalty. Or maybe it still works- you get more chances to cut your opponent... can't recall it. Usually cuts are the side effect of head hunting. Or just a random luck/unluck factor in the game.

Cool, two titles already..doing good!
And llecha is right, targeting cuts does only make sense if there are cuts to target.
