His contract was due to expire Oct 1st, and I read somewhere here that I should release him and renegotiate his contract. Well now he is ignoring my offer right at the brink of us getting a title shot. Is this supposed to happen like this, because you would think that gyms who have made boxers good, and helped them climb up the ranks would at least get some consideration while negotiating. Not get ignored.

Forgot also ambition is taken into account during negotiations. I am not sure what to I can do for you, roco. I can modify the game to account previuos success under manager but it is not really a bug and if I help you to keep your current boxer that would not be fair to others. Maybe you can still keep him afterwards when he leaves and no AI gym signs him.

I can modify the game to account previuos success under manager but it is not really a bug and if I help you to keep your current boxer that would not be fair to others. Maybe you can still keep him afterwards when he leaves and no AI gym signs him. Yeah it's no problem. I still have a few decent fighters in the stable. And I will just wait a while and try to sign him again.

And I will just wait a while and try to sign him again. looks like he did become champ, and you were able to sign him now. Hope he is good. Probably pricy. But 3 title defenses away from promotion. And he is already worth 165K

Yes I actually had our offer on the table before his last fight, but was a bit worried about his price. I hope he doesn't disappoint me. Do you think I make a bad decision?

Yes, I am have the same trouble. Some fighter dont want renegotied. And I cant buy scaut. Scaut send me contract, I am negotied contract, but he ignoring me. I was very annoyed.

I had this with what was then my UK heavyweight champion, he ignored my first offer but subsequently agreed to rejoin...
