www.box2glory.com/npc/9138bio.htmSaw this comment on my boxer's Bio: Will be joining Antwerp The Revolucion gym soonSo The Revolucion signed up another human manager's boxer during the window period, which I don't do, but he is fully entitled to do. But this is the classic part. I still chat to my boxer to keep his morale up pending his move and now he has this comment on his bio page: Amused by his manager attempts at staying friends as he is getting ready to switch gyms on his road to stardom.Classic one Pav!!!

I am sure he did as I have had that fighter for two years now. But no harm, no foul. I was not going to re-new his contract anyway... If it had been one of my boxer I was looking to re-sign, well then... grrrr!

There is no rule, but as a courtesy, I never try to sign boxers under contract with another human gym, unless that boxer has been made available for transfer by that human manager.

"Steal" one of my boxers during the window period and I'll hunt down your most prized boxers, wait for their window, and pounce by signing them at inflated wages to guarantee their move... You see, I expect the courtesy to work both ways... or else...

I think there should be a warning that your boxer's gonna quit your gym. To give you time to offer him better conditions.
Is there any possibility to know that your boxer's going to quit your gym? Or it's just a postfactum note- he's gone etc?

You get a warning when boxer has 12 weeks left in a contract and others can negotiation with him. But you would like to have a notice is such negotiations are taking place. I can add that.

I mean this game does not limit this thing, you may conduct negotiations whenever you want during the window period, it's a part of the game. But boxer should not quit your gym as soon as he has a good offer. In real life he will wait and speak to you, at least when you're friends, to find out what is your offer.
For example- boxer gets an offer from manager #1. Current manager (#2) gets the conditions of this offer, he has a turn to give a better price. If he does not do it then boxer leaves his gym. If #2 offers better/same conditions then it's a turn for #1, he has a day to offer something new. Etc.
If you ain't a friend to this boxer, or his position in ratings is lower then it was when he came, he may like to run away out of your gym as soon as possible without any warnings. On the other hand he prefers to stay with current manager for the same money if he's gratified with his progress and current gym attitude.
And these windowed boxers and new Olympian medalists should not sign a new contract as soon as someone offers it at a very first day. They should take a time-out for about 3 days/weeks to consider all offers and start negotiations(sign a contract if there is only 1 offer) just after this pause.
Something like this.

Yeah, nice ideas - also gym fame should be part of the boxer's decision.

Also I think that a boxer should not become your friend this easy way- only by talking. It would be interesting if this also depends on his ambition and his percent of wins he got under current management. Having high ambition boxer would like to have high percent of wins to be friendly with you.
