Enjoying this game very much but really confused at fight plans. Managed to get a fighter ranked 2 with no real fight plans. Really could do with some guidance. He's a short middleweight, with low speed & agility plus short reach of 163cm. Any suggestions would be gratefully received Thanks Rob www.box2glory.com/npc/2746gym.htm

Well this guy is tough to manage, I know his stats. I'd dump him if I were you I think the strategy you're using is your best option - going clinch and wear down your opponent. Against opponents with low agility or chin you may try head hunting in the first round. And definitely do head hunting as soon as your opponent's stamina drops under 67% (opp<2) since your fighter's explosiveness is great and you don't need your opponent be really tired in order to KO him. Generally you want to be careful with him since he's dangerous but fragile. You may also want to move him down to Welter one day - since his speed and agility are already low he won't lose much in those stats and he won't be the shorty anymore and also his weight will be the max weight for his division so he will get the strength bonus instead of his opponents getting it now. You just have to wait till he's out of top 4 - these guys can't change weight division.

Nope, you're doing all right. As soon as you've got advantage in str you should try to wear out your opp.
If your chin ain't too huge you may start with more defensive lines against guys who can KO you, no need to hurry too much:
0/20-B/30/50 {clinch}
Good explosiveness gives you another option- to stun or KO your opp. This opportunity you should use only when you can't make your opp tired.
Also headhunting may cause opp's cuts, so you should have cuts lines in your FP:
2:if hiscuts>2 then 0/25-C/40/35 {clinch}
