So far my rolled fighter has been doing good against bums with all the default fight plans. I usually pick the speed advantage and I dominate.
but I was reading the forum and apparently learning how to build these fight plans is very important especially when I get to the point where I will stop fighting these bums. Are any of you available to help me learn how to build my own fight plan

fight plans are overrated, I use slightly modified default fight plans most of the time  anyway there's a section on fight plans in user guide PDF which covers all the basic and advanced stuff so you may want to start there. |

they really seem overrated some of the time, managed to make one of my boys a national champion using only one of the default plans (ungrateful brat doesn't want to renew his contract with me now). However, sometimes custom plans are crucial, for example got another boxer to a national title thanks to an anti flasher plan from UGI. With my current level of skill I still can't make a good custom plan like that. So to summarize, fight plans are sometimes overrated, but in some cases a good fight plan will be the difference between winning and losing. It think it definitely pays off being in a partnership.

custom plans can help especially fighting other managers, not AI. I can sim my fights against a manager that only uses pre-made plan to make sure I win. But if manager does create/change fight plans I can't do that.
