I have a heavyweight who was injured while number 1.
He returned from injury but was still very tired but I couldn't rest him due to his rank. He unsurprisingly lost very easily. He dropped to 2nd in the ranking which meant I still couldn't rest him, again he got beat easily and now injured again!
This has cost me a couple of million dollars and will continue to do so.

don't worry he either recovers or drops to 5th eventually you've been saving $$$ for situations like this haven't you I think this is intentional and not a bug really. But I'd definitely welcome an option to rest any fighter anytime even for the cost of lost points/rank

I had save moved so I could afford this guy if he was fighting regularly!
He's fought twice in 32 weeks which were both fitness affected and quick losses. Halved my cash reserves!

I see. Perhaps i should allow resting to any non-champion. I know AI can take a break for himself, but some boxers do not know what is good for them and I do not see the problem with letting manager rest any non-champ boxer.

Is fatigue a big issue? I never rest my fighters.

It effectively decreases your fighter's stamina for the fight. Not by much but it can affect close fights. All of my fighters are either in top 4 so they can't rest anyway or are moneymakers who are not allowed to rest either

you can now rest every boxer other than the champ.

you can now rest every boxer other than the champ. Pav, will others be able to see this? So they can anticipate who is going to fight next week and who isn't. Because in top 4 you can't schedule a fight and since fights are autoscheduled one week before the fight it is too late to scout your opponent.

And I need to do something to prevent people from just resting right before the fight is to scheduled.
