Hi everybody.
I've just started playing this game, but it's good to see so many familiar names around.

Welcome on board, this is a great game with an enthusiastic owner, it's worth taking the time to learn in my opinion. Punchy = Anagram by the way...

Hi, Graversen!
Scandinavian guys really liked WeBL as I see, a lot of them have already joined.

The game looks great so far. But as in all games, beginning is confusing and overwhelming. I tried joining a tournament to get fights as soon as possible We aren't that many scandinavian managers, but it seems we have become addicted to these games

Beware by the way- these tournies are being run in daily mode, as soon as you are in, your first fight will be on the next day. Don't miss it, it's not WeBL where you had a week before the fight.

Another WeBLer coming in - I ran the Ragnarok gym, infamously known as press specialists and part-time boxing managers by Anagram in UK press once.
I think I was everyone's favourite opponent, at least in a world title bout as I never managed to win one!
Good to see so many old names and familiar...erm....faces.

WeBL played a joke on you, Steve, you were able to win that title at any moment, seemed nothing could stop you, but you were waiting, anticipating it... and WeBL suddenly died! Nice trick.

I dunno, FBG, Iain, Schnake and Bird stopped me from winning it, then when I had half a chance in the Senior Olympics Vault stopped that too. I know a fair few thought otherwise, but I never really thought I was quite good enough. Mind you, when my RL mate Tigh-na-Alba won his WT I doubt I'd have been more pleased if I'd won one of my own.

In my humble opinion you didn't win a title because of your obsession with fiddling around with your FP's and refusing to just stick to the most efficient style. Against lesser managers you might have gotten away with it but you fought against the best in your title shots and not making the most of your advantages cost you. Also you didn't run many fighters and therefore for fewer cracks at it than your talent deserved.

Oh, tough opps you had, I even wonder where you got them all from. As I remember last few years WeBL became pretty weak, from this list just Vault stayed active.

Powelille, it is a real pity we have not fought against each other in any of the tournaments so far. And I am no ducker. Please read my posts earlier today in the tourney thread. Would like to hear your comments.

I certainly do, UGI - indeed another Senior Olympic opponent. Brought back some memories - I hadn't even fought at flyweight and certainly not with ropists (I always preferred KPers in Contenders) so I surprised myself getting the bronze. And you and Anagram are mods, I see! Very nice.

The good thing about being a mod here Stevie is that I have never had to moderate anything, this is a friendly forum without of the BS that came to dominate the WeBL forums.
