The good thing about being a mod here Stevie is that I have never had to moderate anything, this is a friendly forum without of the BS that came to dominate the WeBL forums. Yeah Ghosts has been here quite sometime and han't even come close to getting a gag... Unbelievable ;D To be fair, having a game owner that gives a damn helps a lot. I think we all got disillusioned near the end of WebL as apart from some excellent cosmetic stuff nothing was being done to the sim, or to market the game, despite a fair few suggestions. Hell, I remember spending ages translating stuff into German and running it past Baltic...

Yeah Ghosts has been here quite sometime and han't even come close to getting a gag... Unbelievable Your WeBL persona and that of several others became poisonous and was never dealt with. It was a symptom if the downfall of WeBL but not the cause, the cause was a lack of leadership that allowed the game to stagnate and die. The forums just reflected the state if the game... B2G has an enthusiastic owner who responds to suggestions and constantly tries to improve the game. WeBL did not have that in the years that I played it.

I boxed in WeBL several years ago. I'm looking forward to resuerrecting the career of Yul B. Hurt. I can't determine how, though.

Looks like WEBL may be coming back after all. Three years in a making. webl.vivi.com/Maybe me and Bruce can come up with some sort of combined league system integrating both games into something, with fight engine being so similar I would think it could be done.

Ha-ha, this project is back. In fact you know WeBL's sim inside out now, Pav, and you run your game with great enthusiasm. WeBL really needs a new breath so it's interesting what will happen to it. I doubt that there is a reason to get it back to keep running it in the same semi-alive mode as it was run last pre-collapse years.

Does it look better? WeBL always looks exactly like it looks, all the years I played it. There were some small changes with icons, nothing else as I can recall. Let's see if they even answer you when you'll offer something. Bruce seems has lost all his interest to his project years and years ago, I'm still amazing that he recovers this game back, no idea what for he does it. I mean don't be surprised if you'll find that there is no big interest in your suggestions from their side. Though times change, maybe Nathan- new programmer- has some plans about this game.

So these days are there many of us left playing both or have most people picked one or the other ? Does playing one kindle more interest in both or are people tending to gravitate to just the one ? Me , I pretty much do tournies here and more general play over there ( as I like fighter creation , Bare Knuckle region and having far too many fight plans ) . Wish it was developed at anything like the pace Pav moves B2G forwards though .

I played WeBL for a few weeks and won a few more Unsanctioned titles but soon lost interest again. I much prefer B2G, its has the best of both, creating own fighters in tournies and having pre-made fighters too. Also the way Pav keeps on top of things is great

and soon real time challenge! No need for fight plans, enter strategy every round as the fight goes on.
