Hey guys, Brandon's Bombin' Gym here... Looking forward to revisiting some old rivalries, as well as starting some new ones...
It's about time to start reading up... Should have the hang of this pretty quickly...

Hi, BB, not sure if we met in WeBL, but I remember you running some Heavies.

Hey Llecha, yeah I always kept the gym small.. Heavies and Middles were always my favorite weightclass, though I'm pretty sure I won WT's in all divisions except Straws.... But, yeah you're right, at the end it was pretty much all heavies....

Yup, remember you well Unforgiven... You did a lot for the newbs back at "the other place"... Wish I had Mick's email still, he would like this game... If anyone here plays CSFBL, they should hit the forums there... I know a ton of ex-weblers are still there.

I see that Lethal has logged in here, I presume that is the Lethal from WeBL; welcome Lewis, get a gym open and join the rest of us Weblers fumbling around this new game...

I'm almost starting to feel out of place here, just by virtue of the fact that I haven't ever played WEBL. Glad to see the player base growing, though. That can only be a good thing!

Well, I found WEBL fight engine to be great for deep fight simulation. I used it as a foundation for fight engine in this game, plus I added some of my own flavor including some things that never got approved when I suggested it to WEBL many years ago. The only thing that B2G got from WEBL is the basis of that fight engine, everything else is new to everyone. Come to think of it WEBL only had a fight engine and a great community. There was no AI and no other types of management except for fighter creation and fight management. I am happy to get all you folks from great WEBL community to support B2G. You probably be still playing WEBL if it did not shut down 2 years ago, I hope you can learn to appreciate B2G for what it is, and what it is not. It is not WEBL 2.0. But I am certain that everyone new to B2G have a lot to learn regardless of their past game experiences. Welcome aboard

But I am certain that everyone new to B2G have a lot to learn regardless of their past game experiences. Welcome aboard I am glad that it is not WeBL version 2 because I played WeBL for years and it was all getting a bit too routine. What I think is drawing the ex WeBL players here is the similarity of the fight planning and the huge strategic challenge that this represents. No other game that I found gave me the same strategic challenge that WeBL could present, so when I found this game and realised that it shared a very similar fight planning approach then I was immediately hooked. The fact that B2G also offers more management options is a real bonus in my opinion, it means that this game has the potential to combine some of the best elements of WeBL with the management elements of another which I play, MMA Tycoon. MMA Tycoon has lots to keep you occupied but I find that the fight strategy element is weak in comparison to WeBL so I am glad I found B2G to present me with a fight planning challenge again. In short, this is a great game Pav, you should be very proud of it.

Thanks Punchy. Great praise when coming from someone who has a very formidable history with WEBL game and community. I am pretty proud of B2G and if you know me, I am not planning to stop improving it. First step to get a solid user base that participates and suggests ideas. And I am grateful to have all the ex- WEBL big shots here to help B2G to be the best.
