As B2G nears 100 active users I was thinking how to increase forum participation, which now is measly 10% of total managers . One idea I have is to create points that I would give to managers that do something useful to help the game. Lots of these useful things would be things on forum (updating profile, helping some one by answering a question, asking a question themselves, role-playing, etc) . These points will be applied to increase gym fame.
High gym fame allows to sign better boxers and increases advertisement revenue.
Your thoughts?

the beta beast got a perk for finishing de facto #1 during Beta to be in a shadows. Otherwise no-one would want to take his fighters on.

don like this basic idea. the game would become more unbalanced when fame is bound to forum activity. Many people are just shy and think they can't speak english well enough. This would put them in a unnecessary disadvantage.
10% user activity on forum sounds quite ok!

Think this could lead to people posting lots of gibberish in the forums just to get those points, to be honest...

What? YOu are in a game? You are Grossmeister, a relatively young boxing manager from Russia who opened his garage in Nizhny Novgorod as a boxing gym little more than a year ago. In just over a year you were able to show that you really do know what you are doing by taking some boxers who noone gave any chance to Russia national titles. Now people from entire region that know about boxing know about Bronepoezd gym and want to train there. You were able to leave your gym and rent a nice multi-room suite where you now train not only Russian boxers but boxers from faraway places such as Turkey and Norway. Hell, you even have an Olympic Gold medalist who agreed to come under your tutelage. www.box2glory.com/npc/365gym.htmYou have a training program that utilizes strength and defensive techniques and by some accounts you are a top 10 gym manager in a world...you are in the game!

I allways want to be a boxing champion. I hard training all time. I did not have a youth life, all have a fun, I am have a boxing. But in fight vs regional champion I have a hard injury. My boxing career is gone. Now I have big hole in my soul. I've thrown in a landfill. Game is only one my chance to feel my championship. But you see in me only trainer and manager. Old crippled will never be able to fight again. I dont like this.

That is a pretty sad story. Still could have been for best. I wanted to be a football player but did not make it...I think turned out for the best.
Once we balance the game out I see no reason I would not allow people to create their own boxers within certain limits to preserve that balance.
