Ah, my apologies. I just assumed Webl-type (3 STR or less). I suppose I'll hold my tongue for a bit until I negotiate a few fighters into joining me, and get a more rounded view of builds here

I think we are talking not about a defenseless sissy but more of a lower strength dancer. A lower strength dancer should be able to outscore a balanced fighter or counterpunch to defend themselves if a balanced opens way up. As it is now I dont know if that type of fighter can last 12 rounds. I will have to sim to see where it plays out. They can not only last 12 rounds but can actually win against a much stronger fighter (see my earlier post) but only if they are built well. The trouble here as that many if the weaker fighters that you can hire at the lower levels here have pretty major flaws that make them very difficult to win with. I am bettig that as we are all able to attract better fighters as we become richer and better known then we will discover better built fighters. This has already been my experience to some extent...

I had a fighter that was of a general build of a counter puncher or non explosive dancer and the main problem seemed to be he just bled health even when using the most efficient of tactics. I don't know if this was because the other fighters were super strong (which I found out they were not), or lowish stamina (6 or less have a very hard time finishing a fight). This is the first time I am reading this post, but Unforgiven has just summed up the exact issue that I am experiencing. The fighters in general seem to be losing considerable stamina which I can't account for when considering conservative scoring FP lines and non-threatening opponents. Funnily enough, on the other side of the coin, endurance body lines are not as effective in wearing down opponent's stamina. It seems that fighters are wearing themselves out much faster with semi-aggressive scoring line, as opposed to the damage they received at the hands of an opponent. And the rest lines pump up stamina like a shot of adrenaline to the heart. One rest line totally turns the tables on a concerted strategy to wear down an opponent over the course of a bout. It seems there may be some anomaly in stamina progression calculations. I, at first, thought that it relates to the poor start-up builds, but this should be negated when facing similarly poorly built opponents. I just can't quite put my finger on it...

Run a fight(s) and give me a fight number (100....) Every fight generates a debug shadow file that shows all the calculations. This can help us figure out things.

Does anyone knows where i can still get those webl programs that simulate fights? I want to test against b2g engine to see if anything jumps at me. I am also suspicious at fast loss of stamina due to own aggression. Are these tools legit? www.weblsfinest.net/albino/ - In general I do not like to install anything I don't know.

Albino's stuff was solid, but way outdated.
