I have not run the sim with test fights like Ghosts has....nor do I have the experience with the site over here like many others. The only way i can make the assumption that there is not balance is that I don't think I should have been able to make my first fighter guessing at any non WEBL attributes and immediately in my first fights here be able to beat managers such as arildrotmo and Unforgiven....both of which were using taller fighters than my stregth based guy.
i am not going to try and say that I am a trash manager, as i was moderately successful in a game similar to this one, but I am still very suprised to be able to start off 3-1 in human vs human matches over here in the tournament. The loss coming to a much better manager who I know would also use strength based fighter for the tourney.
Sharing stats I think would be very helpful but i also think it is very easy for me to say that since I dont plan on having the tournaments be my primary source of fun here once I can get these initial turd fighters out of my gym.
I understand Ghosts and Bullans reservations for sharing since they plan to primarily run tournaments.

At least I will make explosivness cost less points to raise 1pt cost-raise for 4pts up in expl.

That is very helpful because I always thought that explosiveness (KP) was a gigantic equalizer with a manager who knows how to properly utilize it (which was never me except for Flashers).
And I am 100% in support of balance because the minute there are 16 strength based fighters created for a tournament is when I stop playing them and just focus on my gym. It is exhausting to fight the same matchups over and over.
That is also why I like the gym aspect of the game so much. I think that not being abe to create your fihters brings so much more depth and strategy to the game. Especially when the amount of human fighters in the ranks increases.

At the end of the day if the builds get shared then so be it (I back my ability to out fight plan most anyway), I just don't feel it will be overly helpful to do so. Because until the issue is fixed (which may actually take a little bit of time due to even small tweaks having the ability to throw things right out of whack.) you want a variety of builds being created to ensure people don't have tunnel vision on the problem, that allows to see what is semi working and what is definitely not working.

I have decided not to share the attributes at this time.

I wish I could see who won the tourneys and watch the final fights..since I was out, I didn't get to know what happened next.

I really want to open up the sharing. I just don't have the time to go and cycle through the data from these tourneys. I am hoping someone else does. If everyone will see which builds are most successful, so be it. That is exactly want we want. We will balance the game. And great builds still need great fight plans. So what do you all say? You can't fix it flying blind, what is there to be scared of - someone stealing your great build?
I am thinking of changing the way I am doing tourneys. It will just be one tourney at a time, division will be told in advance as well as the number of points available for build. So each tourney will be different builds anyways.

with 1 tourney at a time - will still be separate instances of it running whenever 16 ( or whatever number ) of people are ready ?

I am thinking every 1st week of the month to declare something like:
"A new tourney is looking for willing fighters."
1.Must be able to make "some"weight. 2.Must not have any international boxing experiences = med points. (or no boxing experience = few points or "must be a world class amateur =lots of points)
Then gyms can create fighters to fit this category. Still, you are not allowed to have more than one am. boxer per weight class.

All sounds great , but if am say the 17th person to sign up will still fight a copy of the tournament with the second 16 etc ? ( am thinking the answer yes but've learned not to assume )

good point. i did not think that through. Then that weight/point type tourney will never end as people that lose will just join to fight again.

Maybe we could each have 1 invitation which we use up when we join so it doesn't roll over for ever ? Would leave a concern of the last few people missing out if there weren't exactly 16 of them though unless the idea is polished a bit ?

Each gym is given one invitation to join the tourney. As soon as gym joins any tourney that invitation is removed and gym cannot join any tourney while his boxer is in a tourney. As soon as that boxer is out of tourney another invitation is provided that can be used at any time. When signing up for tourney only 16 can sign-up, the one trying to sign up 17th will get error and will have to join another tourney.
