Let me know how often should tourney fights take place. Also remember that their will eventually be 7 divisions. So if you do create 7 boxers in tourney you will have to work on 7 fight plans daily. Of course no one is making you create all 7 boxers.

If you were to do all weight divisions you could probably get away with doin 1 each night on a weekly basis.. I think a lot of players would probably do most weights and you are still giving instant gratification to players..
The issue I do see with that is that if you bomb out early it could be one hell of a wait before you can fight in that weight division again..
The other thing you could look at is turn Tournys into a king of the hill kind of thing. Fight every night or maybe every second night the winners eventually make it to the top.. Fight for a tourny belt or something then from there the king takes on the next challenger in line while others work there way up..

I'm not sure that we need so many tournies running at the same time. I mean the possibility of creating fighters in all weights. It's too much. I guess 1 (maybe 2) tournie fighter per gym in the same time is enough. In this case daily mode is OK.
I think it would be better if every tournie starts in random weight with random number of APs.

I mean the answer on "how often" depends on how many fighters will be allowed to run.
Another thing that is important -different kinds of tournies. It's getting boring to compete in the same format all the time. Though I like this one.
King of the hill- another very interesting idea, but it's not a pure tournie one. It has no end.

I would prefer that we stay focused on bantamweights, get the amount of points to distrubute fixed and go up in weight from there. Once you have an idea of how many points you need for each weight class, i dont see a problem with mixing it up with some random weight/distribution #'s

For understanding full game balance we need to test all weights with all possible/realistic amounts
