Let me know if that Reject button works for you. Should be able to clear away the unwanted offers. Yup, it's working fine for me. Thanks a bunch, that's really gunna make a difference to the game for me and no doubt countless other new starters who cant click accurately heh

Good fight against Dave's Chop House, in the end my guy's experience was just too high a barrier. Dylan Park wins TKO6.
If my calculations are correct, next up is a Bantweight UK title fight between Dylan Park and fergsuk's champion John Kitchener.

Will be hard for my guy to win that - away from home against a very fast fighter who beat him on clear UD when they fought before.
I am concerned by the lack of money in bantamweights - I see even with decent excite rating I only got 1200 as #4 fighting #5. I also see #1 against #2 only got 1500 and 1000. Is this working as intended? Seems really low to me, at heavyweight the top 4 guys get a lot more.

You seem to be doing pretty well so far. He is quick but he's got a bit more to his game than that I was gunna ask about this myself. A 200 capacity venue for a national title fight is a tiny bit unrealistic, at least in my eyes

yes, the thing is the game was coded with intent to have 50 boxers at nation level. Just after I put that in it took way too long to make turns on my laptop with so many boxers.
If I did have 50 boxers at nation your rating would be way higher than 150 when you fight for the national title. And then it would work as intended. If you notice heavyweight have much higher ranking right now when they fight for the title (i think it is just co-incident) that is why they are getting into better venues.

well it does mean I'm losing money on this guy, even though he has only £290 salary and is in top 4. If I lose next round, or win and still have low rating and small venue, may have no choice but to fire him and move for a guy in lightweight or similar. He's not strong enough to dominate the division, so may need someone more cost-effective.
Maybe the effects of marketing your gym should be boosted a bit, does it affect your fightings rating or excite value?

I will adjust the venue selection to lower the score as consideration starting next round. But not too much. Majority of other divisions have high enough ratings to get into bigger venues (aside from newly created countries - which is intentional). Also remember that you may always get selected for an undercard and if you get your score up with victories you will be fighting in a bigger venue. So you are not stuck at loosing money.
Marketing is good for extra boost of money but it is not a lot for a small gym and it depends on media(mostly) ability of your boxers.
I have see a bum boxer with media of 20 make money for gym even without any successful fighting due to his lower cost and his media handling for marketing.

Yeah I wouldn't change anything too much. I see cruiser as well seems like the ratings and therefore money is pretty low. Bantamweight I guess maybe going through a transition, as there was dominant fighter who got promoted and two of the top #4 are only just coming back from injury. Hopefully the ratings sort themselves out naturally soon. Problem is, I don't think you see a media rating of a boxer until you sign them? Unless I've been looking in the wrong place

So how does the venue choice get made? What factors are deciders in smaller or larger?
I was thinking that higher ranked fighters would be at slightly larger venues, regardless of their weight class.

Yes, weight class does not matter. Your division level (world, continent or national), your rank and your score matter.

around 200 would do it.

Does your score go up in set increments per fight? Dependant on results? The rank of fighter you're against?
