Pav, when grads turn pro are they more likely to sign for one of the boxing club members who they have a good relationship with or will they sign for anybody.

Yes because they start as friends with all managers in partnership

I ask this because the grads we are turning out keep signing for other gyms rather than Agincourt members. I was wondering if there was a reason for this. This is really frustrating because we wait a long time for a potential world class fighter and they get taken by other gyms.

Hmm, should we only allow graduates to join partnership gyms? Just for first contract? Right now they have freedom just like any other boxers who are friends of managers.

Right now they have freedom just like any other boxers who are friends of managers. perhaps increase the "value" of friendship? or have non-partnership gyms pay transfer fee so at least some money go back to the partnership If grads were only allowed to join the partnership they had been raised in it would give the partnership gyms an advantage over "single" gyms and I don't think it would be good for the game balance. However ss it is now, and with 50% grads not going pro at all even if agreed to, it makes no sense to build an academy, especially if there are new gyms in the partnership they just keep paying for something they can't get.

i am working on change to allow a partnership leader to automatically assign graduates to any one of partnership gyms. The academy graduate is obligated to spend 2 years in that gym at $150/week contract. This is to make people not ask, what the point of boxing academy - as soon anyone will be able to create their own boxers.

I have just instructed our new grad to join Gym Quay so hopefully he will join next turn if working correctly. Hopefully it will work fine because he is our best grad yet
