Aye, today I was pretty free and became creative. I started to think how the interface might look. This is a first try and not even finished. Maybe you can discuss what you like and what you dislike here. And in case there will be technical problems to code it, you need to tell me as I'm pretty unaware of the difficulties which could occur. This is just the main interface - the boxer profiles will be very important as well. I tried to leave the color theme as it was before. Also textures could be used later to make the interface look more real.

This background... I don't think it's needed. I don't perceive it, just geometric patterns which make my eyes tired.

What more should be included in the header? How to deal with the content of the single categories? To leave it like now, or to add some design as well? You need to give me some input, otherwise I cannot continue... and negative feedback is welcome as well. Such stuff would also be possible as solution for the content:

Nice! Which size will the pictures have in the end? Will the pose depend on the mentality? Or will it depend on the morale of the boxer?

Here we go with another work- in- progress picture which displays the boxer profile. Until now I just arranged the main information. The graph, nots and fight history will follow soon. Morale, Experience, Condition, Excitement and Status will be shown dynamicly. Means that the icons change depending on the value of a stat. For morale it means: +2 = exceptional, +1 = deficient, 0 = good, -1 = decent, -2 = poor For experience: 0 = rookie, +1 = experienced, +2 = veteran Condition: exhausted, jaded, tired, freshExcitement (3 levels): under 5 = bubble says "hmm", between 5 and 10 = k, higher than 10 = bubble says "wow" Status: may be okay (like displayed) or injured or banned (due to drug abuse) These dynamic icons may replace some notes (f.e. condition line! The mid area will show the graph and the win- and knockout rate, as well as the record and the timeline. I know it looks like much work for you, Pav. But I guess it is worth the pain!

Update Maybe I have to redo the timeline, it looks a bit lost there. Do you already have an idea about the size of the pictures? For the stance I also made an icon showing southpaw. One more thing: The value of condition is not visible for all boxers, correct? Only if a boxer is part of your gym you may see it?! Then maybe I have to think about something else instead. Talent stars (depending on amateur success) seem to be useful. You have to define how it could be done: A star could stand for the boxer's tier (local = 1 star, national + regional = 2 stars, international and more = 3 stars) or half a star (grey) for each achieveable kind of award (local = 1 grey star, some local = 1 golden star, regional = 1golden star and 1 grey star [1,5 stars]).

Changed the condition display. There will be written "fresh", "tired", etc. and the icon will just show a colored orb. Condition will only be visible in the stats as far as visible for you (most likely for boxers in your own stable). Yesterday at 6:07pm, cicillo wrote:

If so, you have to think about the system (important for me how much space I need to cover the feature on the profile pages). What about an ingame message system or a chat? I guess boards are good to have, but people login to the game more often than to the board. Communication is important for every online game. We should implement all the stuff from the "ideas"- section that makes sense. Then we can cover everything in one step and wont have double work. So we have to do a survey where people may vote for ideas. Maybe you can set up an IRC- Channel for the game? Cheers. //edit: Here is what it looks like now.
