...which opens (a kind of pop-up?) when you log if there is an important info for you.
-when you joined a tournie -have an invite to a tournie -other manager offers a contract to your boxer (?) -new info about game (updates or notifications)

I really do think these pop-ups is a good idea for game promotion. I see it on Pokerstars, everytime you log in some info about events or game updates appears.
I guess it'll help to promote the whole game and these forums too. Pav is doing updates very often but not everyone knows about it. If somebody has never joined forum he probably does not even know that there are two translations of rules etc. Or about your plans, advertisements, game news, new forum threads and discussions. In fact people like to know that game grows, something happens. If it's being done through mail it makes people angry, but doing it this way can't worry anybody. Also it will help to get them involved in game progress, game changes. More communications- more fun.
I'm gonna post a small help file about FPs, builds, styles but I'm sure most of managers will never hear about it. It's bad for them and bad for the game.

How about instead of new pop-up window I have multicast message system that I can use to send one message to everyone from time to time.

In-game message system?
I've never seen it so I hardly can say something. I just know that I'd never visit PS forums to see what happens, but this system makes me see it and does not bother me much- one click and it's out. People hate spam and ignore all messages if they can on autopilot though there can be an interesting info there.

Yep, got even 2. Probably it can work as an alternative.

I've sent you this on in-game mail but not sure if it worked
In my opinion it will be OK to send these promotion messages once a week. I mean daily mode won't work well, they will start to ignore them as a spam if there will be no new info in each new one. Cos here people have got this opportunity, pop-ups don't allow to do it, there is a difference.
