This concept of top 4 boxers not having a chance to schedule a fight is a good idea but may lead to weird results. I mean if a boxer is in top 2, he can't schedule a fight. But boxers #3 and #4 CAN schedule a fight if the other fighter (#5 or #6) makes them an offer. And that offer is valid even if the #3 boxer for example should fight #1 (when #2 is injured). And #1 might face #6 for example (USA bantam, #4 is injured too), so #6 gets a free shot at the title. And all this happens just one day before the fight, so there's no way one can scout the unexpected opponent (#1 was scouting #3 all the way and then oops some tough luck there he's fighting a different boxer). Wouldn't it be better if the fights were auto-scheduled earlier? Like 4-5 days in advance. I'm not complaining, I'm happy my fighter doesn't have to face his nemesis after all, it just seems unfair, there should always be time for preparation, at least the possibility to create the FP in advance, which is not possible now when you can't be sure who you will be fighting until the very last day before the fight.

auto scheduling fight earlier will not give enough time for manual matchmaking with all the negotiations. Can you not figure out who is injured and who already has fight scheduled before the auto scheduling take place? I could also not allow anyone to schedule fight with top 4 boxers if that will help.

I did figure out #2 was injured so I was preparing for #3, but he got an offer from #5 and that what I did not know... you can't prepare for that, you don't know it until they have finalized the deal and that might be too late to properly scout the new opponent.
Maybe top 2 eligible fighters shouldn't be allowed to manually schedule fight? So at least the title fight is always between the top two fighters.

I understand there probably is not an ideal solution. It's just it happened to me yesterday and now again and it kind of crushes your plans

the last day to finalize the manual deal should still leave 2 turns for you to prepare. It is not a lot but at least you can throw bunch of scouts on that guy for a turn before making fight plan. Always check two turns before fight to make sure you are still training for the right guy.
