Mati Plaatjie have recently stated he might retire soon. He is only 32 but have not had much luck lately. Still fighting at top level and might change his mind if he puts a winning streak together. Fought for Rockplace in a past and was a dominating Lightweight champ just a short time ago. If he does retire I wonder if he has enough creds to be the first HOF B2G entry. I think he does. www.box2glory.com/npc/6288bio.htm

Ha, maybe I'll talk to Mati about joining my gym, wonder how much he wants Things are looking up for Mati, first he finally wins a fight and then a juggernaut Moscow Powerlille gym offers him a contract. I am not a betting man, but if I was I would say within a year Mati will sing a different song, putting retirement on hold and winning a few more belts to ensure his place in the B2G Hall of Fame.

I think in 2037 we are going to start seeing some big names hang their gloves for first time in B2G history. It is the 17th year of the league. www.box2glory.com/npc/5991bio.htm - Ivan Granlund just retired. He spend all his career with Phoenix Ace gym. All his career at top flight. Held the belt twice in 2029 and 2033. He retired as soon as he got relegated just now. Still not quite enough for Hall of Fame. I will have a Hall of Fame page created for all those boxers that deserve it. Or yes, he is a scout now...not a very good one, but still nice to have someone in a gym who have fought so many of the world's best cruiserweights.

www.box2glory.com/npc/5948bio.htmTwo times World Champ American Frank Brown was a pretty big deal early to mid 20s. He was giving Taner Oyal a run for his money few times, beating him with the first round barn burners until Taner got smart to not engage in a slug fest until later. Sadly he then started losing to Taner over and over not being able to capture the world title anymore. His career was then tainted by the steroid use as he tried anything to beat the legendary Turk. He retired as he just lost his USA Belt. He hold the record for oldest US Champ ever at 37 years and 8 months.

www.box2glory.com/npc/5983rbio.htm - American Jack Reeves just retired. Dominant cruiser weight from about 14 year ago had 11 title defenses in 2024-2025. Spend most of his career at World Level. He retired after losing a fight between himself #7 in North America vs Julio 'The Stalker' Delgado #8 (managed by Copperdollar). Jack can hold his head high, but still does not enough to get into a B2G Hall of Fame, which is still waiting for its first entry.
