Due to global financial meltdown of 2038, B2G council met and decided that extraordinary measures were needed to keep organization afloat. Effective immediately the highest payed athletes will have their current contract shortened to allow managers to offset their recent losses. The lower wage structure will be in effect from this day forward for all athletes at top national level and above. Lower ranked national level boxers should not see much difference in their wages. Event ticket pricing, PPV and network revenue will also be adjusted downward for big events, but this should not effect gym bottom lines as this will commensurate with at athletes wage restructuring. how it all started

Ken Birkeland is asking for more than he was on before!! he must have had a lot good happen since your old contract. He is a world champ now I am not sure if he was ever at the world level when you signed him first time. I promise you that he would have asked for more prior to changes if you reneged now. Overall, you should have significant changes for lower wages. The young world champions are very elite and will ask for a lot. Still you should be able to keep them. I suspect average world title fight at somewhere between 1.5-2.5mil. It seem even the most awesome boxers will not ask for more than about $250,000/week, which is 1.75 mil per 7 week. Of course I understand that injury is possible, but that is why you should have some other boxers too to support the very best. The idea is not to make the game easier from financial side. The game was not that hard before with top gym being able to accumulate millions of dollars. The idea is to still have managers have some challenge in thinking about money, but now have a realistic and workable boxer values that allow managers to trade boxers at the very high competition level. Of course i will keep an eye on situation if I need to farther adjust things.
