Well I'd love the turns pretty quick - so I voted 8 hours!
However I think what would be best is still 24 hour turns, but trying to make negotiations instant - so you click and get response straight away, you negotiate too many times with a fighter and he shuts it down for a few turns as now. Also if more than one weight class could fight on the same night (say bantams and lightweights, middleweights and cruisers, heavy and superheavy etc..), so you effectively cut the cycle between fights in half. If that's technically feasible.

The limitation at this time is that it takes 30 minutes to process a turn. And for data integrity reasons I shut the site down when turn is processing. So making it process two weight divisions would double down time to an hour. Also making a turn less then 8 hours would make the portions of time the site is down too long.

I voted 24 hour turns. but like sendorange commented...it would great if the negotiations were either instant or at least at a higher rate.
As for the 24 hour turns....i kinda like the fact that i know my guy is going to be scheduled on day x (real time) and fight on day y (real time)

Seem many think negotiations should at the higher rate. Let move that discussion to Negotiation thread in the same board. Here lets just consider the fight cycles for our voting.

Don't know why but few people go to forum from game and much fewer post. I never run a forum before so I don't know if that is common.
So far I am thinking 24 hour clock with faster clock for negotiation (12 or 8 hours). As for more things to do I will think of other features to add.

Yes, sir. ;D Just want to make sure that nothing breaks with this... I need to work out that logic is still sound when negotiations can be done once the fights are already scheduled but not yet fought.
