Hi Pavlik, can you just clarify something for me; "round" is not a valid condition? When I used it in the simulator it works but it says that I am not allowed when I try and lodge it in my fight plans. If round is not valid then is there a formula that you cause to track your % stamina loss? The formula that was used in Webl involved using round as part if the formula. I realise that I can write things like If stamina_percent > x But this makes for very long Fp's so I'm hoping that there is a better way... Sorry to disappoint, but there is only a long fightplan option today. There is no formula and round can not be used as condition. I was always thinking to go back and add round as condition but with all other things to improve I never did. But I will put it on my to do list for short term.

Ok, no problem. Out of interest, how come it works in the sim?

what do you mean by it works? Can you tell me more detail? It should not be possible that "round" works as condition. Sim and fight are using the same script.

This is the exact reason a "Trafford" style FP is better suited for this sim. Yes, the FP will be longer in format, but if you want to be able to track your boxers stamina it seems the only way.

When I was using the sim earlier I used an fp that I had adapted from Webl and a line using round kicked in. I'll try it again later and see if I can get it to trigger again...Either that or I am imagining things!

PS I will think about integrating round as condition. When I started my goal was to be able to do everything with conditions. But I made a choice to not make fightplan even more like programming early on with complex condition. I end up with longer fight plans but it is easier for people to understand those fight plans. Webl had a lot of useful shortcuts for fightplan developers that was almost like a writing a program. I do not have anything like this at this time. But round as a condition is useful to have, i will think about it.

click "check for errors", then you can save.
The way too atach figtplan to fight you have to wait a day before fight. Then you can go into fight management and do it. another way is to simply attach fightpan to boxer as default. You do it in your boxer stable screen also check game manual or ask if still questions

Once I have familiarised myself with some of the new additions to FP's then I might try and adapt the fight planning guide that I wrote for WeBL for new users to use here. Much of the content is essentially the same but a few phrases need to be ammended or removed...

Maybe a "newbie" guide is in ordrer....maybe a cooperative effort. That would be very good. I tried with getting started session in the manual. But its hard to do newbie guild if you were never a newbie youself. If you want to tag team to put content in there that would be Awesome! I have created this thread. Once its more useful I will link to it from within the game interface. Hopefully it will also bring more users to the forum as forum participation is not very good at this time. box2glory.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=gameabout&thread=199

Is there a strength penalty for using {outside} like there was in WeBL? I'm just wondering whether a fighter who has a height advantage but also a strength advantage will be penalised for staying on the outside whilst using a relatively high level of power?
